The MADEIRO is the board for all riders looking to perform in all wave types.

PRESENTATION

This year we have made considerable changes in order to increase the performances of the board in all wave types.
We have increased the volume of the nose and added more rocker towards it.
Having increased the volume of the nose brings more stability and a better longitudinal balance. Take-off is easier and this volume helps during the bottom-turns for very intuitive carving.

The MADEIRO has now a round/pintail which brings more fluidity and manoeuvrability. Rail-to-rail surfing, easy top turns and less speed loss.

The hull keeps its simple concave with thinner rails thanks to the bevels. F-ONE Surf SUP boards have quite some width for their given volume. It allows to get the necessary stability whilst keeping thinner rails. The MADEIRO surfs better with thinner rails and more width than with thicker rails and less width.

The middle sizes (8’0” / 8’3”) offer a very dynamic behaviour with enough volume to let all types of riders express themselves with some progressive and committed surf. Available in 8’0 x 29 – 8’3 x 30

The larger sizes (8’5” / 8’8”) are very accessible wave boards with a lot of stability. They remain very responsive in the waves and offer a lot of possibilities for the heavier riders or those less experimented. This year they are narrower and have the new shape, available in: 8’5 x 31 – 8’8 x 32

CONSTRUCTION

The BAMBOO DECK construction is available sizes from 8’0” to 8’8”.
This robust construction has been proven for many years of production and offers a weight to resistance ratio with great reliability. The deck features a layer of bamboo to provide a tough impact and crushing resistance while the many layers of reinforcement on the bottom ensures solid strength.

CONSTRUCTION

The PRO CARBON construction is available on the whole range from 6’8” to 8’8”. The deck is built from layers of glass, bamboo and some bi-axial carbon fabrics. The bottom features an HD foam sandwich with glass layers and some bi-axial carbon fabrics. The brushed carbon finish ensures the weight remains minimal. This construction brings an impressive resistance to the MADEIRO range combined with absolute light weight.

The PAPENOO range offers stability and maneuverability with the performance of a smaller board.

These boards integrate 4 M6 inserts on the hull to connect a foil with a top plate, so they are all “foil ready” without it increasing the weight too much or disrupts the ride.

SHAPE

With its short straight outline and its large tail, the PAPENOO accelerates quickly in the small to medium waves. It generates speed to pass the soft sections and then reengages to hit the shoulder of the wave as soon as it is redrawn.

The rocker line is tailored for this short shape which resulted in straighter lines to get the speed while manoeuvrability is provided by the reduced length.

The shape evolves in 2020 with the addition of a winger in the outline.

This keeps the rails of the board fairly parallel in the central part offering a better planning / lift ratio and a better directional stability whilst paddling.
The PAPENOO is extremely maneuverable thanks to its narrower rear which drags less water.

The new PAPENOO reacts super quickly, goes faster, the bottom turns are easier with a better projection up the wave and the top turns are also easier with a tail that reduces drag.

The TAIBA shape combines the length needed to achieve easy take-off with a round outline and a refined rocker line that will surprise any advanced rider by its efficiency and manoeuvrability in the bottom and top turns alike.

The colourful TAIBA range includes 3 sizes at 9’2’’ x 31” for 139L, 8’10’’ x 30” for 125L and 8’6’’ x 29.5” for 116L.
All sizes come with a thruster fin setup and the BAMBOO DECK construction that uses a bamboo sandwich laminate on deck for added strength.
