Why Prone?

Prone paddling is a sport that comes from surfing and surf lifesaving. Surfers realized that longboards make a good rescue device and are more efficient than swimming. The more that surfing and lifesaving became popular the more training and specialized paddle boards became. Lifesaving has a long history of competition as well. This brings us to today with carbon fiber boards and people paddling faster for longer distances every year. The F- one prone paddle board is a great example of years of design and material refinement. It is the best way to train for surfing in big waves, small waves, beach breaks or reefs. It is essential in the progression in making modern day watermen and women.
